I am Marianne Lincoln. I am an Obama alternate in 2008 for the 9th CD. I am also Treasurer for the 2nd Legislative District Democrats. I have been involved in local politics for 20 years. I started the Spanaway Community Association, for 2 years (each) ran the Parkland-Spanaway Festival and later the Spanaway Street Fair as interim chair. Ihelped the Altrusa Foundation raise money for the Harold E. LeMay Skate Park at Sprinker Recreation Center... (I was the mysterious grant writer who took 1st place to get the funding.) I helped start Friday Firesides, the Core Qualities Project and other community events. You can still find me taking notes about something that isn't working right in the community here and near my work in Redmond at the Microsoft Campus. (Yes, I like to work with computers.) The work I do is in World Wide Public Sector. Yes, I do hear what other counties think of the USA under this administration. Their approval ratings have tanked - just like ours in the US. (And now that you ask, you are correct, I do not believe criminals should occupy the highest office in the country.) That is why I am working hard to elect a DEMOCRAT to the Presidency of the United States in 2008. God protect the 1st Amendment to our Constitution!
