This year's convention could be a DOG FIGHT. We must not loose sight of our objective: to win back the White House. I believe Obama Delegates must:
1) Pressure Super Delegates to support the
PEOPLE'S CHOICE
2) Remain 100% loyal to BARACK OBAMA
3) Reach out to Clinton delegates in the
SPIRIT OF UNITY

For 8 years the Bush administration has chipped away at our RIGHTS: disregarding domestic and international laws. As a PATRIOT, I am enraged by this abuse of power, as a CITIZEN I believe that it is my OBLIGATION to ensure that our democracy remains strong & this is why I am now attending the UNIV. OF WASH., finishing my degree after a 30-year absence in Pol. Science. I want PEACE. I want a clean ENVIRONMENT. I want CHOICE. I want ACCOUNTABILITY.

I did not have very much growing up. My father was a teacher, and later a union representative, my mother was a house wife and later a social worker. Divorced, she was left to raise 5 kids on her own.
• As a 1/2 HISPANIC kid raised in a white neighborhood, attending one of the first integrated high schools, I felt different and alone, but I also learned an important lesson, which informs all of my beliefs: people are the same: we want the same things/we need the same things.The natural extension of this belief is that we are all entitled to the same OPPORTUNITY for success. This is what I am fighting for. I have economic security. I am living the American Dream.I want to make sure that other people have the OPPORTUNITY to SECURE their future, and live the AMERICAN DREAM.

What else should you know about me?
I AM RUNNING FOR PCO IN THE AUGUST PRIMARY
I am currently attending the UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON finishing my undergraduate degree, only this time, 30 years later I have changed my major to Political Science. I have volunteered to CANVAS or PHONE BANK in my precinct as a FOOT SOLDIER in each election since 2004. I have made phone calls on behalf of MoveOn.org & I donate as much as possible to support our democratic candidates here in Washington as well as supporting our next President, Barack Obama.
You will find that there are many people who have given more time and money that I have politically, but no one has given more that I have to our community in terms of time, commitment and money. The convention this year is too important to use your vote as a reward. When making your decision on who to vote for, I hope that you will consider me because;
