Hello My Name is Denmark L. Jones:

I'm a political junkie who loves politics because it changes lives every day. I have a degree in political science from Seattle University and enjoy political debate which gets me into trouble sometimes because I'm a passionate person.

I'm hoping to become a major part of the democratic party in the years to come and have a career in politics.

I have not done a lot of volunteering in the past but I plan to change that with this years campaign.

I'm a reader and some of favorite books are: The Writings of Henry D. Thoreau, The Outsider by Richard Wright, Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison

Some of my favorite movies are: Excalibur(1981), Shaft(1971), Lovejones(1997)

I love music and some of my favorite artists are: Public Enemy, Common, Jill Scott, John Coltrane, Kindred the Family just to name a few.

I love travel and learning new things I have visited Egypt, Morocco, Israel, Spain, Italy, France

I'm also a Leo.

I believe in a Universal health care system for all Americans I think we should end the occupation in Iraq and only use our military for the defense of our nation and stopping genocide with the cooperation of the world community. I believe we should re-tool our educational system to reflect the challenges of the 21 century. When we say leave no child behind, we need to put the resources behind our teachers and our communities to make this a reality. I think the two most fundamental things needed in this country and the world is Love & Knowledge.
