 Short Biography:

[I am a 33 year old American of Mexican Descent.]

[Having completed my Associate of Arts from Yakima Valley Community College Winter 2008, I applied to University of Oregon and plan to major in Mathematics.]

[I was a very active volunteer for Yakima County Democrats during the 2004 presidential elections cycle. I phone banked. I canvassed. I was elected a precinct captain for 2203 in Union Gap, WA. I was also elected as an Obama Delegate from my most recent former precinct and subsequently I was also chosen as an Obama Delegate for the 4th Congressional District at the Yakima County Democrats Convention}

[I asked for and was granted an extention over our 1 minute candidate allotments to deliver a speech as to why Barack Obama has my personal and loyal backing, and as to why I merited selection to be a 4thCD Obama delegate. I made a challenging and heartfelt plea for unity, democracy, and inclusion of all citizens and residents in our communities and in our country. I feel proud of that moment and hope to contribute more regardless if tapped by you kind, fairminded electors or not!]
