| Short Biography: I got involved in the campaign last year when I traveled to Iowa to volunteer for Obama in the run up to their caucuses. After returning from the Iowa caucuses to Seattle, I have continued to do everything I possibly can do to get Barack the nomination. I am on the 43rd district leadership team, have worked long hours in the Pioneer Square office and have made countless phone calls and buttons for the campaign. I will keep working for Barack Obama until he is elected in November. | |
| If I am elected a delegate to the national convention that my trip to Denver will be carbon neutral. I will meet that goal by biking all 1500 miles and bunking with supporters along the way. My trip will support the campaign in two ways. First, I will raise money for Obama by soliciting pennies-per-mile pledges. Second, my bike route will pass through the swing states of Montana and Colorado. In all of the towns that I ride through I will contact local papers, radio and TV stations to generate publicity for the campaign. I would love to have the honor of representing you and your ideals by voting for Barack Obama in Denver. Thank you very much for considering me for national delegate. |
