I am responding to the questions requested by the National Delegates.
I have been an O'Bama supporter since the 2004 National Convention where I was a National Delegate for Kerry. I heard O'Bama speak and I knew that one day he would run for President of this nation. When he announced, I immediately began to work for his election as our party's presidential candidate. I spoke to several county party meetings about O'bama and assisted in helping others in developing methods of presentations, as well as I was one of the founders of the Pierce County for O'Bama Group. I, also spoke to many people who would participate in the Precinct Caucuses in order to persuade them to become O'Bama supporters.
2. I plan to use my experiences as a campaign manager, former vice-chair of two different county parties-one in the east side and one in the west side of the state, as State Committee person for 18years, a former chair of the State Elections Committee and the initiator and former chair of the Pierce County Elections Committee to get people to assist with as well as to Vote for O'Bama. Currently I am the Regional Commander for NABVETS a certified Veterans Service "Organization. This makes me responsible for NABVETS Chapters in 13 different states in the Western part of the U.S. I have already persuade many of them to give assistance to the O'Bama campaign. They have done so. They will continue to help.
3. My Contribution as a delegate and a party member: I have been one of the major people who have fought to open this party for all people. I fought to change and helped re-write the rules of the delegate process in order that people of color and others could be more involved in this process. Moreover, I have consistently instructed others on how the process works as well as insisting that if they become a delegate they had to see the process through for us to win for O'Bama. In addition I provided lists of former delegates so that they could be called and persuaded to support O'Bama.
4. As the Regional Commander of NABVETS I can influence many Veterans in 13 different states. In addition several NABVETS members are National Delegates. In addition, in this state I am very competent in running and assisting a campaign to make it's candidates win their elections. Moreover this is a history making election and I want to make sure that O'bama becomes the next President of the United States of America, thereby by making this an historical election. Finally, I can and I will bring voters to our side to vote for an historical election by Electing O'bama President. I am a Viet-Nam veteran and an African-American.
