Kansas congresswoman Nancy Boyda of the 2nd district made her endorsement public this past week. She has a very tough congressional race ahead of her in a mostly red district in Kansas, with former congressman Jim Ryan back on the ticket, opposing his Republican counterpart Lynn Jenkins - State Treasurer. Boyda has opted out of attending the convention in Denver, but her supporters understand her reasons. Endorsing Obama reassured me to continue an aggressive campaign in our district to get her reelected for her second term.
