 Short Biography:

I have wanted to be a National Delegate for the past 4 years -- ever since I attended my first precinct caucus. I have been working hard ever since that caucus -- I became a PCO and the 1st Vice Chair of the 44th Legislative District Democrats and have been working hard helping Democrats get elected from the Grassroots to Olympia to the White House.

As a National Delegate I want to attend sub-caucuses at the Democratic National Convention to work on Veteran & Military Family Issues, Public Education and Victim Advocacy -- since I am a citizen directly impacted by these issues. We need to take care of our Veterans and their families, educate our children for their future, and support victims of crime -- and I want to be part of Washington State's Delegation to be a part of Senator Obama's Change!


As a Community Leader and Volunteer Coordinator I helped save paramedic services for a community of 30,000, passing a levy that had previously failed 5 times (we passed it with 81%!) Over 5000 phone calls were made and thousands of doors knocked over 3 short months. I am a school board member, secretary and past president of my homeowners association, past VP & Secretary of a military spouses organization, and past fund raising co-chair of my local mothers club.

As a Democratic Party Leader I have organized and co-chaired Snohomish County's 2008 Convention, revived our Founder's Dinner turning it into a Gala Event, organized fundraising events for my legislative district, managed county-wide races, and answered 100's of 'where's my caucus' calls, called Obama supporters to get them to their correct caucus location, chaired the 44th LD Obama sub-caucus, and served as secretary to the 1st CD Obama sub-caucus.

As a mother of 2, a military dependent, a community leader, and a proud American -- I will be active in my community long after this year's race to the White House has been won by President Obama.
