WHY I'M A DELEGATE FOR OBAMA:
TOP 5 Reasons I Like Obama
  1. Change Politics = New America

  2. Courage to say NO to Iraq War

  3. Health Care Insurance Advocate for All Families

  4. Wants a Fair Tax System

  5. Well-Educated Family of Harvard Graduates

After reading "Dreams from my Father" I was totally convinced that Barack Obama should be the next President of the United States. I was so convinced that I "changed" my candidate preference from Hillary to Obama two weeks before casting my vote at the February 9th Precinct Caucus. Obama was a grassroots organizer as he worked diligently building community organizations in South Chicago, which is still the most segregated city in the U.S. today while facing heavy opposition from all socioeconomic sectors. Throughout his arduous journey, he created a "movement" that grants him entitlement to the "moment"...victory to the White House in November. Like Mr. Obama, I'm also the founder of a grassroots community based organization. I can relate to the struggles that Obama experienced during his early tenure as a community activist. Real change takes place at the grassroots level. I have also taken on the responsibility to serve my precinct as PCO and I'm actively recruiting a team in the Fremont 1363 precinct. The PCO is the foundation of the Democratic party and is the ultimate grassroots organizing base for this campaign. I'm committed to Turning the 43rd District BLUE and ultimately clinching an Obama win in November. This is the CHANGE that I believe in and it starts in our own backyards.
