 | About me: I grew up in Seattle, studied English and Psychology at New York University, and then lived in Ireland for a while, working in Finance. I've traveled a LOT in only 23 years and have lived in lots of different places. I think I have a global perspective that's certainly inspired me to get involved with my government and hopefully bring about real change. I have also been very involved in my community by volunteering (mainly doing work for homeless teenagers) and did a lot of work in 2004 to get students at NYU to register to vote. Totally unrelated: I read a lot, am an awesome baker, and throw great parties. |
WHY I'M A DELEGATE FOR OBAMA:
Currently I am helping organize a trip to Oregon to register voters and am looking forward to decorating the Hale's Ale Bus (in which we'll be making our journey!) with Obama swag. I have been active in my community as anworking Obamafor volunteer,Obama, but I also have helped work for the change he represents. I do a lot of work with homeless teenagers and education, and I think it would be great to send people to Denver who have worked hard for Obama AND the change for which he's worked hard too. I also helped make buttons to send to the PA primary. (Never before did I think I would learn how to work a button making machine!) I've been a dedicated Obama supporter and would love to represent him at the National Convention. I'm 23, and I think this would be the experience of a lifetime! Looking forward to seeing you all at the State Convention! |
