Every since I was a small boy and watched John F. Kennedy win the Presidency and go on to be an inspirational leader, making a difference in the life's of people I have wanted to make a difference in the life's of people because I grew up poor and disadvantaged. I got involved with Politics over 32 years ago after leaving Washington State University with a Masters Degree in Political Science/Public Administration and worked in The Legislature for a state representative. I also got involved with the Democratic party. I have backed every Presidential candidate that I believed would make a difference in peoples life's and change the path that this country is on. I even put myself on the line running unsuccessfully for local office in the mid eighties. I had lost hope that the changes needed to put this country on the right path and make it a place that All Americans could be safe and realize prosperity and a good quality of life would not be realized, until I heard Senator Obama Speak at the 2004 Democratic Convention and later in 2005, and 2006 in Seattle. He has brought back my hope with his inspiration passion and desire to make changes in the direction of this country. That is why I benn working and organizing people for Senator Obama; and have visited other States to canvass and register voters and have trained many delegates on this process. I want to continue that work at The national Convention so I can see my long awaited dream and the dream of many realized. |
